Delegates talk IAC

Posted on August 28, 2018January 17, 2019

On day two of the 8th International Aquarium Congress we asked delegates attending the conference at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, Cape Town, may be enjoying a full itinerary about the learning process and their time in the Mother City.

Andrew Rossiter, from Waikiki Aquarium, Hawai said: “I thought the keynote speaker talks were interesting and felt their talks all tied in together really well. I really enjoyed the husbandry discussion this morning but my favourite part of the conference… the realisation that aquariums are doing amazing things almost in secret. These conferences are critical to getting the information out to the public.”

This is Rossiter’s fifth visit to Cape Town. “I love it!”, he says of the city. “I’ll be spending a few days in Cape Town after the conference.”

Conrad Litz from Walt Disney World, United States of America, said: “I’m interested in the husbandry side and not the business side of the conference, so I really enjoyed this morning’s husbandry advances talk by Allan Marshall. All the talks have been great. I was very impressed with the discussion on animal training.”
